Playground Equipment Contract Signed & Construction Timeline Set

We are excited to announce a significant step forward for the Coweta Street Park Initiative. A contract has now been signed for the new playground equipment, marking the beginning of a vibrant phase in enhancing our park’s amenities.

Site preparation will begin in April, with grading work setting the foundation for the new playground. By May, the playground equipment is scheduled for installation, bringing us one step closer to a more vibrant and family-friendly park. Once the playground is in place, construction will move forward on key enhancements, including ADA-compliant sidewalk access, perimeter fencing, park benches, picnic tables, a walking path, and new signage to guide visitors and highlight park features.
