Basketball Court Renovation at the Park of Hope Completed
The Coweta Street Park Initiative Steering Committee is thrilled to announce that the refurbishment of the basketball court at “The Park of Hope” is nearly complete! The court has been resurfaced, new goalposts have been installed, and updated backboards and rims have been fitted. The final painting and striping were completed earlier this week. Once fully completed, the park will be donated to the city of Senoia and opened to all residents.
As illustrated in the progression of pictures below, the old court was uneven and in poor condition. It had numerous cracks and ruts, and the goals and backboards were in disrepair.
The newly refurbished court is now smooth and level, featuring regulation striping. The new goalposts, backboards, and rims are heavy-duty and specifically designed for outdoor use. The court surface resembles that used for tennis and pickleball courts, ensuring it is low-maintenance and built to last.
